New Professionals - The Role of Officials in Passing Legislation

It can be daunting, as a new professional, to be tackling the legislation setting process for the first time. This is particularly true when it is for one of the significant reforms currently underway, where the legislation is of high interest and impact.

The New Professionals team welcome you to this ‘Role of Officials in Setting Legislation’ seminar, where we will provide you with an overview of the legislation setting process, what it involves, common pitfalls, and what officials can do to best support it.

The seminar will be delivered by Francesca Algie, Policy Manager (Legislation), Three Waters Reform Programme, who will share her expertise and experience, including as it relates to this significant reform.

The presentation will end with an opportunity to engage with Francesca and ask questions, followed by drinks and nibbles. Spaces are limited!
