Nothing says summer carnival and fairs more than cotton candy.
The iconic light, fluffy and sweet treat in blue and pink colors brings back memories for many.
It has been almost 10 years since there was an Oreo Cotton Candy sandwich cookie.
Now, they are back.
The limited-edition flavor will return to store shelves on June 5, 2023.
“It’s been nearly a decade since the whimsical flavor was last seen on shelves and, after many requests, pleads and wishes for a return, Oreo is making fans’ dreams come true!” the brand said.
“Oreo Cotton Candy will hit shelves on 6/5, just in time for summer, because what pairs better with warm breeze than the iconic carnival treat flavors of cotton candy?!”
Oreo says the nostalgic flavor “features a delicious golden Oreo basecake double-stufed with side-by-side pink and blue cotton candy flavor creme.”
